In Reply to: Iguana egg laying.... posted by Chris H on September 26, 2002 at 13:48:07:
Well, Ivy laid 30 eggs several months ago and she's 10! Her first time also, so I guess egg laying can vary a great deal. Infact I think I read somewhere that some Igs only lay once or twice in their lifetimes, whereas others can lay up to twice a year! Akkk...
:)
:I've had my iguana for 7 yrs and in july she laid 20+ eggs. She has never laid them before...is this normal? Will she lay them yearly? Also she has never been near another male, so the eggs would be infertile...thank god;0) 1 iguana is more than enough for me.
:Thanks,
:Chris
