Iguana egg laying....

I've had my iguana for 7 yrs and in july she laid 20+ eggs. She has never laid them before...is this normal? Will she lay them yearly? Also she has never been near another male, so the eggs would be infertile...thank god;0) 1 iguana is more than enough for me.
