Flavia is right in that they are very hardy. Most of the time they will not break limbs, but freak accidents can happen. Mine have sprained their legs and limped for a couple days...by the time I got into the vet, they weren't even limping anymore! If you do suspect a break, I would immediately want to get it set or wrap it in some way so it heals back as properly as it can. I would try to get into a vet immediately, but if I couldn't, I'd probably try to wrap it myself with a popcicle stick and gauze. Then I'd put them in a dark area where they couldn't see to encourage sleeping and less movement until I could see a vet. I know it is important to set bones immediately for better healing.
