I have been licked by dogs many times, and of course by my iguana too, and their tounges just don't seem as wet as a dog's. The pedialyte that was mentioned is similar to sugar water, but also has added electrolytes I think. I'm not saying the sugar isn't a good idea, just that it may not work as well as it does for mammals...
:I used to do that to reanimate cold and weak new born dogs.It works!!Keep it quiet and warm.

::help my iguana is dieing what can i do to safe her i soaked her in hot water try to feed her put her under a uv light bulb what else can i do she is turning brown her belly is like yellow she not moving at all or moving very slowly please help the vet is closed i cant take her till tomorrow HELP HELP HELP
