Who have Horses AND reptiles! I have always been into both. Right now I have a 19 yr old grade quarter mare, and an appy gelding. The appy is 3, and I am training him myself, possibly for barrels & poles, but first as a good riding horse. (A lifelong dream...) My other lifelong dream would have to be to own a freisian as well. They are so beautiful (but expensive)! I also have JJ (the ig) and a veiled cham, and a painted turtle. So I have my hands full!

Back to the subject at hand though, I wanted to add a comment. Just be careful taking reptiles out in public. When done right, it is a great thing to introduce people to reptiles and calm fears. However, people can often be interested and want to come close, and we all know that igs can decide suddenly that they want down, "let me go now!", and sudden actions like that from the iguana can scare people who are not used to it (and standing close). And also, although your "kid" is 4' (is that right?), which of course is not large in the world of iguanas, remember that to the average person, that is one *HUGE* lizard! (Keep a leash on him even though you hold him, in case he would jump out of your grasp you have the leash still...)

He's MY MAN!!!! He'll only preform for me. Now matter how good a rider or whatever gets on him, He'll only preform for me. :P My Other one Is a 8 y/o, Dapple Grey, Off-the-track, Throughbred Mare. She's 16.2 hands and BUILT ON STILTS!!!! Her Racing Name was "Axe's Embrace" But I hated that name so Her name is now "For The Love Of Dove". Dove is her call name. Like I said, I'll be breeding Her to a friesian This coming spring. I tried this past May but the stupid vet did things wrong! :( Grrr... Still a little ticked. Anyway, She's My Gymkhana Horse In Training. I'm going to run her the coming year. Anyway, That's my two. SPILL YOUR GUTS! :) LOL hehehe
