Ok, 50gl with Basking Spot at 100 Degrees and the rest in the 80's. They eat crikets, right? Do they need to be dusted with Calcium or anything like that? They need the same UVB lights, right? They need a shallow tub of water to wade in? Do They Like Baths? They Need stuff to climb on? What else??????? Anything and EVERYTHING you know please tell me. Yes, I'm picking your Brain!!! :P lol :)
:50 gallon is usually the minimum (although gallons don't matter as much as floor space). You could house a young one in a 30 gallon for 6-9 months maybe. I would buy a thermometer that reads humidity, setup that tank and try to see what temps and humidity levels you can get. The problem with smaller tanks is it's hard to get a temp gradient. You want a basking spot to be about 100 and the other side of the tank to be in the 80's if possible. I've seen people use the large rubbermaid containers for cages, but again, the beardie can't see out. This may be okay but seems depressing to me! Oh they are just so awesome...I hope you can get one if you are getting another reptile! Flapjack used to snuggle up (wiggle his butt) in my hand and fall asleep when he was younger. Later he would snuggle and fall asleep in my lap. Here is a photo of him at 3 months!
