There is now an active bird site here in the Kingsnake/Pethobbyist community. http://www.birdhobbyist.com/ Ask for guidance over there and I know they will be glad to help. They are a great bunch there :)

:Well there is a loose green parakeet coming to eat the food hubyy puts out for the sparrows here.
:Having cats and Lizzy not sure how to even attempt to catch a bird outside.
:We live in Chicago and weather still nice but getting colder in the evening, not sure if a parakket can survive outside.
:I posted on the parakeet forum and on my cats boards I visit as many of my friends have birds so hopefully with a lot of cross posting I can get some advise as to how to help this little girl/guy.
