I will add my 1 cents' re your incandescent lamps (like the Basking Spot Lamp, Daylight Blue, etc.)
Uh, ... so ... uh why *are* they so short-lived? I really don't mean to be rude! I find all of your other products to be of top quality. I buy all sizes of your UVBs etc, for several cages and an Iguana room, and have never had a problem of ANY sort. The incandescents however, burn out so frequently they sound like popcorn. Seriously, I have tried and tried ... and never had one last beyond 6 weeks. I use real cheapies now, unless they are all sold out. They last for a minimum of 6 months, and most over a year. I will say the individual stores replaced the bulbs at no charge and with no hassle ... even when I return several times in one month. But I wonder ... you must be doing something different than the cheap brands that causes this to happen?
Perhaps let us know here if that problem is ever identified? Perhaps if corrected your incand's wouldn't be $17.99 here (Canada) but closer to the $6.99 cheapie?
And thank you for recognizing the education factor.
And no I won't feel ignored if you don't respond.
Thank you for the work you do.
