it didn't eliminate the breeding aggression in most cases that I've heard of. Also, a spay is not easy to do unless the iguana is already gravid. It's very easy to leave some ovarian tissue behind that can cause problems later on. I'm not so sure that elective neuters and spays are the way to go.
