:Hi fellow lizard-lovers! I am new to this forum, and hope you will be able to help me with my Eswarto. He hasn't been feeling too hot lately.
:I bought him in a little shop on the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ. They had about a hundred of these cute little lizards and it took forever for me to convince my dad to let me get just one! They told me that I can keep him in one of the plastic tanks they were selling- I got the one with the red plastic top (don't worry, it has holes in it) so that he cannot get out.
:I have had him since the end of the summer. I have been feeding him canned dog food- thats what the shop told me they liked. I bought the decent stuff too- the chunky kind with gravy, not the processed stuff. I also keep a bowl of water in there for him, but it takes up half the tank! (I figure thats ok because I knew enough to know all living things need water!)
:Anyway, since I started school this week, I'm hoping he just is lonely becuase I don't get to talk to him much because he has been acting wierd. He isn't touching his food anymore- maybe he needs a different kind? He is also starting to turn brown in some spots. Is this normal?
:Ok, please write back. Sorry if this is so long you didn't want to read it.
