I think that some form of "general" information database for iguana husbandry that was constantly available would be an excellent idea - provided that any potential information sources are previously screened of course. Personally, there are few websites that I feel comfortable recommending and even fewer books so it may not be a difficult task to build this source list....;)

Heck, even something as simple as an iguana husbandry FAQ might help. Take the 10 or 20 most popular questions asked by potential and new iguana owners, provide the correct answerstothem and provide reference sources to back them up....
