Each to their own, I guess. I have preferences, of course, but to me all animals are essentially equal. And any animal which enters my home uninvited (whether it be fence lizard, moth or even spider) will be cordially and gently re-escorted back into the outside world unharmed. I do have an abject terror of caterpillars (when I was little a neighborhood bully dumped a bucket of tent caterpillars down my back), but I know people like them and they have a right to live... so I use a really long stick if I have to transplant them. :) I respect your fear of spiders, but some of us do like them and we aren't nuts. We are just different on our opinions.
