I have to be honest with you guys, he's not a confirmed male and I have not a clue of his age. I got him from someone who got him from someone. (You follow me?) :) I hate to call him a rescue because he was far from "bad" shape compared to the other rescues, but he was not being taken care of properly. The previous owner didn't want him anymore and wanted to find him a good home. So my point is that I don't know how old he is because he could have stunted growth because of poor conditions. He did not have UV lighting, he was kept in a tank that wasn't even 2x his body length, he was full of worms when I took him to the vet, and he was *only* fed Kale. He didn't have anything to climb on and there was a heat rock in there that he layed on about all the time because the temps were all wrong.

So I'm pretty sure that he very well could be reaching a breeding season if not right now, soon. Is there anything that I should do to prepare or anything I should watch for specifically?

Should I post a picture of his femoral pores? (I feel so naughty doing that). ;) When I was to my vet the first time he said female, but around the third time he heard me calling Spike a her and said that he thought Spike was more likely a him.

Here are a few pictures of Spike for size (and because I love to show him off). :) I would say that he's probably just under 2 feet with his tail, but as you can see, he's still a little guy.

Sorry this one is so dark. I was having a very hard time getting a good picture with him in front of the window.

Thanks,
Shanna
