Spinach is not very good for your Ig. It contains high levels of Oxalic Acid, which although doesn't remove calcium from your Ig, they bind up the calcium so the Ig can't absorb it from the food.
I guess a little every now and then won't hurt if you really must give him spinach, but not as a daily food source.

:I've been told that Spinage is not a good food for Ig's or any reptile because when they eat it, it matabolizes (spelling..hmmm)
