1.How old is your iguana??
2.What is the weather temperature??I keep my igs outdoors too (what is very good for their health)but they only start to eat when the temperature is around 85F.Igs need to be warm to eat!!
3.Depending on the weather and on the size of your cage you can keep your igs outdoors 24 hours a day ,the whole year.In my opinion the perfect temperature for an ig is between 80(cold area) until 95(basking area).I think 100 for a green iguana is too much!!My igs start to pant and to open their mouths when the temperature reaches 96 or 97, thats why I covered part of their cages because where I live the temp sometimes goes higher than that!!

:i have had my iguana for about 24 hours now but he hasnt taken any food except for a littleturnip greens hanging in his sunning enclosure where he is now. But how can i entice him to eat his meal? Im just sort of worried he gets plenty of warmth from his basking spot which is high up on a branch 3 or 4 inches from a che. Humidity is good the cool side of the cage is around 70. warm side is varied greatly. What should i do about his apetite? How long should he stay in his sunning cage?
