Im not really too sure. Once they get past a certain size actual age is really hard to give. Even at the suggested sizes on this site, my worst abuse case is the size of a 1 year old iguana. He is actually 7 years old. There are a lot of factors involved in determing a rescue or adult purchase that can throw a wrench into guessing real age. Feeding of animal protien will make an iguana much larger (and appear older), poor husbandry will make an iguana much smaller. My rent an iguana is either 8 or he is 15. We really have no clue. Unfortunatly I know this doesnt help, but give him an age range. Figure he is somewhere around 10-12 or so. Since he was an adult when you got him see if he falls into the chart size wise. Maybe you can put an age on him from when you first got him and go from there.

:I would like very much to know Godzilla's age.I bought him 3 years ago and he was already an adult.Now, I dont know if he is 5 years old or 15!!Igs dont have white hair or wrinkles so I dont know how to discover the age of an ADULT iguana!!Do you have any idea???Thanks again!!
