Haha so would I. I guess people on this forum would be bias because we love iguanas. There is a show in America called Survivor where they have to fend for themselves, they were eating rats for protein and I am sure that people that had
rats for pets were very disturbed. I watched a special on a country where they ate iguanas and they talked about it like people in America eat cows.
I have a ball python and it really upsets me that people eat snakes, but I have to respect it
because its cultural differences. I think its all gross, but every country varies on what is socially acceptable to eat.
I have heard rumors of people feeding their reticulated pythons puppies!! I think this is awful but on the otherhand rats and mice should be just as valued.
Off the topic but a couple of weeks ago I wrote a post asking for advice in the next step to trying to bond with my friends iguana and you reccomended gloves. Well today, I actually touched him for like 20 seconds!! I was so excited.
But I tricked him, I was misting him and as soon as he closed his eyes I started to pet him. When he opened his eyes he saw that it was me and moved away! :((
haha oh well, gotta keep trying.
