I knew about the greens ::thumbs up:: He's eating lettuce now, and carrots with apple, till I get some more stuff to feed him. I have lights for him... a hooded light for the top of the cage, a daylight and a reptile specific night light. I read up a little while IN the store and got what it said I would need... to START...
I know the cage won't work too much longer. It's a temporary fix. I'm planning on buying a large bookshelf and gutting it out, adding wire mesh siding and using THAT instead for the cage. I think it will work much better longer term. ::sighs::
I love him though... I was reading about taming and socializing them... so I took him out and went around the house, let him see everyone else... he seemed very alert. Though, when I try to get him out of the cage, he spazzes out a little... runs back and forth... and I'm worried about his toes... one of them at least seems to... not bend right... ::sighs:: Large undertaking this. But I do love Gir.
