Yikes! That looks familiar! Sleestack is a nose rubber too whenever he gets near wire or mesh-- doesn't like it! His mouth is scarred up and has had injuries looking similar to those. It all healed up pretty well, but if you know what an iguana's mouth scales are "supposed" to look like, you can tell he was injured before. I just used triple antibiotic cream on it at night when he slept. I didn't like to use it in the day when he might lick it off. Sleestack does very well in plexi or glass-- I suggest you keep poor Myka in a similar setup!
