:I think your post is off the subject and probably should be removed.
Please feel free to report it if you feel that way.
:But in any case...why would I believe your methods of "pest control" when you dont even know that fleas and mites are not close relatives.
Sounds like you misread or have confused things...
:Another thing that should be noted is your ant killing techniques...you might as well just step on them.
The information on the page clearly states that the suggestions were submitted by people who have either found them to work for them or that they have read or heard worked for other people. The cinnamon+Grants works fine for me. As explained in that section, the cinnamon (or capsacin) provides a barrier across which they won't go, leaving them to more quickly find the Grants which they then take back to their nest. Thus, the method limits the spread of the ants and ensures that enough bait gets taken back to the nest to halt the infestation within 24 hours. I've tried some of the other suggestions, including fresh mint, and found that they didn't work as well as the cinnamon+Grants. YMMV. That's the nice thing about offering lots of alternatives.
Of course you can just ignore all the suggestions and go right to any of the many links to IPM, alternative, university and federal sites that all have pest control information on them.
:Your mosquito section has like no information.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion.
: Howerver while looking for sites for Merlin I did encounter a site that had a non-toxic solution, I have to go back and find it though.
Vector control agencies consider both mosquito fish and the Bt israeliensis to be nontoxic alternatives to ,more toxic mosquito control methods, especially for individually controlled smaller areas of water. Some vector control agencies give fish and/or the BTI to homeowners for use around their property. If you have found some other safe biological or nontoxic alternatives, please do share them! There are many other mosquito-borne viruses that are pretty nasty to people and other animals, so such information is never a waste of bw.
:If anybody is interested in find a solution I would be happy to find information on this. Actually I scanned the rest of the pest control section and alot of those methods do not work.
And you know this because you tried them?
:PS...did you delete my message?
Nope. We can't delete. Like all members, we can report.
