I would rather know the truth too, and I'm not afraid to question. I just dont want any of you guys(actully girls) thinking I"m striking out at you. Yes the link is based on human but the facts are still the same. Consumption would be different and would be less then what they are basing nutrition on. Unfortuanately for the iguana community you have many people claiming they know what is right and wrong and people listen without questioning. People need to start challenging the people who write these information articles. In any place...what researchers find today will be changed tomorrow, and changed again the following week. It was only a couple of years ago they announced eggs werent as bad for you as they thought for the last 20 years. As far as I know about carrots...I find no claims to the previous statements, and like you mentioned xta they are set for humans, but iguanas would use a much less amount.

To prove my point in questioning these people...go to:
http://www.baskingspot.com/iguanas/igbook/nutrition.html

Scrool till you see a title saying "The Good Stuff" and read the list.
Now scroll down more till you see a title saying tannins...and read that...notice that both list contain grapes. How can it be good for your iguana...and then she claims that they have tannin and are dangerous. Go figure. This is the reason why I believe very little from these sites. Do you really want this kind of information to base your igs life on?

be cool
PE
