:With this new format, will we be censored? The only moderation involvement we have had previously consists of one of us reporting particularly relentless and annoying trolls (and sometimes their messages will be deleted).

:Also, with all of these sites being combined, KS projects that the members will go up to some rediculously large number. I am not for excluding anyone, but the forums won't do much good if there are a million people on them. The bearded dragon forum is so busy all the time already...one cannot keep up with that forum unless they have no life! Questions go unanswered constantly as they are shoved 4 page-lengths down in one afternoon. So sometimes joining a ton of other boards together isn't really a benefit to anyone but advertisers.

:I admit that I hate change (the benefits must be clear). I am not spouting off to cause trouble (or maybe PE is rubbing off on me and I am!), I just wondered if anyone else had thought about these issues?

Change is sometime bad, but it can also be good... Please everyone read on.

Hosts will work to uphold and enforce the terms of service that every member agreed to abide by if they wish to participate on kingsnake.com or any of the other PetHobbyist.com sites. This may include facilitating the speedy removal of inappropriate postings or those in direct violation of the terms of service as set forth by the owner of kingsnake.com and the other pethobbyist sites. By the very fact of participating on the forums/message boards (or
chat rooms) you reiterate each and every time that you have agreed to follow the terms of service. Members who continually abuse the system and violate the rules they agreed to follow are the ones who will likely have difficult
times ahead.

Just as the members have this ability, so does a host have the ability to file an abuse report when they see a message that violates the terms of service. However, any action that may be taken (if any) against the person the report was filed against is *not* under the jurisdiction of the host(s), but rather those much higher up in the chain of command. :)
The primary purpose of the hosts is not to play cop, but to welcome new folks, help people find their way around, assist them in looking for answers to their questions, and generally making sure the PetHobbyist sites are a
safe place where everyone of all ages may converse with each other.

All members are encouraged to provide feedback on the changes that are occuring. We want to hear what you like, what you don't like, what you want to see improved, what features you want to see added, etc. For comments/feedback or any issue pertaining directly to Kingsnake.com, please email --> webmaster@kingsnake.com. For comments or feedback pertaining to any of the other PetHobbyist sites, Comment/Feedback message boards (forums) have been provided at each of those sites for that purpose.

I hope this explains what we will be doing here. Basically it is the same as you all already do. If you have further questions, please feel free to post them or bring them into the chats!
