Lizzy laid eggs starting january into febuary of 2001. She laid a total of 13 that time. I also had the box with the coreect soil mixture and she did not use it. She lais her eggs, any time and any place she wanted.
This year 2002 she started like last year but became egg bound. I had to take her to the vet where she stayed for 7 days ubtil all but one egg was laid, she did lay the other at home in her cage. This time there was over 30.
Now for next year I have to take her back to vet when it's egg laying time again for her calcium and other levels to be checked to make sure she can lay with no problems. I again will give her a laying box and see if she uses it this time.
I would maybe take your ig in to a qualified vet to be checked to see if she is in facy ready to lay eggs or if there is something else going on.
Much luck.
