I got my Iguana about a 3 months ago. She was a rescued animal who was not being cared for properly. I've since made a big difference in her life. Feeding her the right food, Giving her her vitamins, I built her a new home it's about 4.5 ft high 3 ft long, and 2.5 ft wide. Plenty of trees to climb on. My qustion is will she start getting eggs. In her new home she's getting the proper heat and uvb-a lighting. Her last owner did not provide all this for her. She was so stunted when i got her, and weak. The vet said she might get eggs from being so long without the proper heat and now getting it. She seems to be gaining weight in her stomach. She looks like she's holding eggs. I provided her with a box off of her enclosure with potting soil about 6 inches deep, and closed so no one can see in, to give her privacy. Does this sound good? If not what should I do differntly? Do they usaully lay eggs in the night or during the day? THANKS For any HELP
