Hmm... Lizard's tail-wagging has never been followed by an aggressive action. Usually it's not followed by any action. He just continues to sit or lay where he is. I think maybe he just likes the movement sometimes.

:Other times, it signals that something is going on that is making them nervous, or that they are planning an action, usually aggressive in nature. With igs in such situations, it may be used as a lure, to draw the subject's eyes away from focusing on the iguanas's eyes or forequarters to focus on the tail, so they miss the iguana going into action.
