:I've seen so many wonderful pictures of everyone's igs that I wanted to share some of my beautiful baby. This is Sebastian. He is 12 years old and I have had him since he was a teensy-weensy baby that could fit on my finger. He is a bit small for his age - the vet told me early on that he looked like he was a runt and would probably be a little small. We just had a vet check up last week because he wasn't eating - he's always been a very light eater, but he was eating lighter than usual. I had a bit of a scare as he has some swollen glands in his throat. The vet said it could be hormonal or could be a sign of kidney problems. I had a pretty nerve-wracking couple of days waiting for the test results, but I am happy to say he came through with a clean bill of health. Both fecal and blood tests all came out fine. I have a huge amount of respect for those of you who have had to care for sick igs - the vet sent me home with some medicine to give to Sebastian twice a day just in case it was a kidney problem and it is not an easy thing to force open an igs mouth with those strong jaws they have! WOW! I hope you enjoy these pictures!!
