However mites and ticks are related. Nymph mites are only 6 legged at birth, but as adults they have 8 legs. I've mentioned this before on the forums..."that you cant believe everything your read!".
Melissa...that first line on your page is wrong. They arent even in the same family. Atleast make the correction that they are only related as ectoparasites. Are you an anthropologist Melissa?
