Hello,
My four year old Iguana over the past two weeks has slowly been growing a rather large sized black patch of skin on his upper left shoulder. I believe this to be a bad thing, not a shift in chromatophore growth or a normal change in color gone bad. I have scene pictures in Reptiles magazine of Iguanas suffering from Necrotic tissue damage or death. This is what I believe the area to be. How do you fix this !! Eldon is by far and away my favorite herp I own (I have 72 as of this moment) What would I have to do to fix this? By the way, the way my local vets work as far as reptiles they have me find out what kind of drug, and the dosage, then they charge me for the drugs and the administration, so they won't be any kind of help.
Thanks for your time,
Zachary Loughman
