Best product out there is called "Nature's Miracle." Comes in a white bottle with red top & lettering. It will take care of any bacteria that may form. For dogs, it stops the "oh I have peed here before so I can do it again" syndrome. To tell you the truth, I don't know if reptiles might have that same concept! I am convinced, however, that they can poop to show their disgust, etc. with someone/thing.
