thanx for replying. i just wanted to let you know what i was feeding him. he really likes any big leafy green. i do feed him mustard and collard greens( collard greens are more easily accesible in my area, he is fed these about every ohter week), as well as small ( as in only once since i have had him) amounts of spinach and kale. i know about the calcium binders (oxalates) in these foods, but i want him to have a diversified diet and so i am feeding as many leafy greens i can. some may not be the best but when added to the rest of his diet which is very low in oxalates i think it is ok. i could be wrong, but thats just what i have been doing. i rotate the leafy greens, so that every time i go to the store, i try to get him at least one different kind so that way he is not going to be eating all the same evgetables. so far i have gotten kale(once in 5 months), spinach ( also once in 5 months), watercress, cilantro, endive, mustrad, ecarole and others.i am going to gorw him a gerden when the wheather gets a little warmer. i am including cilantro, endive, nastutium ( for a treat), basil, parsley and others. i have done research on all of these and they are all safe for consumption. if you know of any others i should include let me know. dandelions would be good too, i`ll let a couple sprout. wow your lizard is 3 ft!? mine is barely over a foot including his tail! it has been broken thoguh. it is growing back really well. it is about 4 1/2 inches now. thanx for your help and i will try your suggestion. mainly i was concerned becuae, while i measure him monthly and he is groing, i don`t notice him growing, i guess thats because i see him everyday and don`t notice the change. so to me it seems likehe isn`t growing. thanx for your help.

: Hello. I would have to guess that Gwaners was about 6mos when I got her. 6-8 possibly. She is now 3ft in total length, from her snout to tail tip. Like you said, yours is a rescue. It will take some time for the ig to grow, but, it sounds like you are doing something right if it grew 2inches so far. To get Gwaners to eat the salad, I would give her plenty of good greens ( mustards, collard) and chop them up and mix them in the salad right before serving. Since your ig is still recovering, I would feed those types of greens. Cilantro is a nice added touch, but, I would use more of the calcium rich greens as the staple sort of. Just try mixin plenty of greens in the salad. Eventually, she might eat it. I hope this works. Lemme know if it does or doesnt. Good luck! Yvette
