Its not uncommon for iguanas to lose part of their tail. How much of its tail did the iguana lose? Keep an eye on it for infection. Maybe use a little peroxide to clean it. If its bad...you may want to take it to the vet.
Mine lost part of its tail as a baby...I'm thiking of getting him tail extensions.
