Be careful and talk softly calling your Ig's name. I had a heck of a time with Lizzy and still do.
I use a towel to get her out and then once out on my arm/shoulder she is a picture of pure contentment.
It does take patience and lots of it and hours of time.
Try to handle the same time everyday. I usually take Lizzy out for a bathing and handling in the evening.
