that's pretty much how i discovered that "LiZ" was NOT a good name for my lovely little ig ... 'cept i got a *handful* of hemis one nite as i was lifting "her" out of the tub ~ EEEEEEEEEEEK!

i was a TOTAL newbie and hadn't found KS forum yet and i was CONVINCED that my poor little girl was prolapsing + otherwise falling apart ...

(thank goodness for this forum! have been here ever since!)

PE ~ are you *sure* the hemis aren't just very dark/purplish??? (iZ's were) ...

once iZ discovered that he *could* evert them in the warm bath water, it became a nightly thing for him to! after he pooped, he'd swish his "stuff" in the water ... (+ i do NOT think this was totally a "cleanliness" issue on his part! LOL)

the "bonus" to this routine of his was that he never had problems with seminal plugs getting "stuck" from too much build up ...

altho the 1st time i SAW a seminal plug, i thought one of his hemis fell off and made a very tearful phone call to his vet ... (gotta give Dr. C ALOT of credit ~ he didn't fall down laughing til after he explained plugs to me + hung up the phone ...)

:)
