(imagine the heat in your apartment goes out one Thanksgiving weekend ~ since it's a holiday wkend there's no one else in the building and no one's around to call to show you how to re-prime the 100yo boiler/steam heating system and it gets down to 45 degrees in your apt. ... just cuz you have blankets, does NOT mean it was a fun wkend!!!

also keep in mind "The Toddler Mentality" that igs have! what that means is that just like a 2yo humon, igs explore + *taste* everything ~ that's how they learn ~ it's also how they get into trouble and get hurt or dead ... igs (or kids!) are NOT dumb!!!
but they do NOT "know better" and that's why so many things just aren't safe ...

"Murphy's Law" really applies to igs (+ toddlers!) as well: If they can get into something that is even REMOTELY harmful, THEY WILL ~ maybe not today, or even in the next 3 months, but THEY WILL ...
