If you get the july issue of Reptiles, there is an article in there titled "New York Exotic Pet Ban Moving Foward". They dont give a date when the bill will be brought up though, but I think its in the fall, not positive though. From what i read iguanas in New York State will need permits and other reptiles(such as the water monitor) listed in the bill will just be banned. Thats what I got from what I read.
