My only concern with using plexiglass type products were that they scratch easily, but I guess that this is much safer for the animal, an much cheaper for us!

I was actually planning on using radiant heat panels already, they seem to be a lot safer and have a lot more pros than ceramic heat emitters.
Misting systems was something else I planned on putting in the enclosure, but I'm just beginning to research the pros and cons of each type. I like the idea you said, it sounds nice and cheap compared to the $175 US reptile misting systems I was looking into! I was looking into ultrasonic foggers, I liked the idea of the look of them, but they seemed a little iffy as far as safety goes, too many accidents could happen in my opinion! Thanks again!
