:his name is Egor; he's about a pound or so, and about 3ft long; next month he will be a year old. i'd say he's a pretty decent friend! except for the occational blood from his nails (which i do clip and i do know how to clip). no his diet hasn't changed, exept for the stop of his crickets and meal worms, but that was about a month or so ago. we offer him squash w/ collard and mustard greens one day, and carrots w/ squash, grapes, zuquini (sp?), and many fruits. he eats better than my family does!!! :) other than that, he hasn't had a diet change. his heat lamp did go out the other day for about 30 something hrs, until we got him a new one. could that have any thing to do w/ it?

: before you rush off ~ how long has it been since your ig's diet got changed???
: if it's been in the last week or so, it's very probably the switch to eating fresh greens has just given him a temporary case of diarrhea ...
: it doesn't sound like an emergency at this point, but DO "keep an eye" on your igs "output" ~ it IS an important indicator of it's overall health ...
: and diarrhea *can* become serious if it goes on for too long ~ it will cause dehydration ...
: what *I* would do is call his doctor tomorrow during "regular office hours" and set up a "well-lizard exam" ... and take some fresh poop with you so they can check for parasites/worms/etc ...
: altho i'd like to {{hug}} both you and your bf for being *willing* to rush him to the doctor!!! *big grins* ...
: some misc. questions:
: how big (length + approx. weight) is your ig?
: how old?
: name???? (*grin*)
: best wishes!
: we're all here for ya if you need us!
: Bon. (+ her guardian dragon)
