keeping him in the carrier would be safest for both you and the iguana. BUT, take some time to take him out and let him stretch his legs regularily. If there is any way that you could keep him out of the cage and free in the car, and still not interfere with your driving, it would be great. Just be sure to keep the safety of everyone in mind.
