Do they stay smaller then Other Igs? Or is that do to a problem? I haven't taken it yet. I was thinking of taking it but was worried that it had health issues cause of it's size. What do you think? I'll see if it's possible to get a pic but I'm working through a third person so I'm not sure. Since it's an endangered Ig, does that mean there are laws against having it? Just curious... :)

: In that case I think your rescue iguana is Cyclura nubila lewisi. It's an endangered Iguana from the Cayman Islands. They are the only blue iguans I've ever seen.

: Frank
: : I was told it IS an Ig, just not a Green Iguana. Is there another sub-spieces of "Blue" Iguanas?

: : : I was reading last night about Cyclura. Go to www.cyclura.com

: : : Look up Cayman Island Iguana. I know you said it's not an iguana but it seems interesting. I Had no idea there were blue iguana's.

: : : I do agree that your resuce is probably a Basilisk. I just saw a pair in San Diego Zoo.

: : : Thanks,
: : : Frank
: : : : : I was told about someone who wanted to find a home for their Ig. I'm interested in taking it but They can't tell me exactly what kind it is. They know for w fact it is an Ig but they say it's not a Green Iguana. They say it's Like a turquoise/ blue color and doesn't get as big as a Green Iguana. Said it's about 3 and a half - 4 foot long and full grown. Any clues about this Ig? I'm stumped.
: : : : ****
: : : : Sounds like maybe a water dragon, which is NOT an ig, but kinda similar. Or maybe a basilisk. You ought to get a pic of it. Ask what it eats and if it spend a great deal of time in the water. They have different diets than a green ig!
: : : : Good luck
