ferrets that are domesticated have very few of their natural instincts left, as they have been domesticated for around 2000 years. But you are correct in a sense, and I would never trust them having contact with any of my reptiles. Ferrets often bite just to inspect other objects, which would include reptiles.

: hi,chris.i don't really have any advice on how to keep the animals separate or the possible stress to the iguana but i wanted to say something about the ferret.In the wild ferrets will feed on reptiles. So depending on how much you trust the ferret......i would be really careful.
