My cat and ig have been very tolerant of each other, too. The ig mostly ignores her--doesn't seem upset; and the cat stares in facination at him, gently touching his tail with her paw when he walks by her. Of course, they are NEVER allowed together unsupervised, as I do not completely trust my cat not to "play" too hard with him.
