Anyway, the Active UV is the light I recently bought myself. It is very bright...you aren't supposed to look into the bulb yourself or you can damage your eyes. I got 150 watt I believe (it was one of their lesser wattage ones) because even though I have a big cage, his basking spot is up high near the light and they have a minimum distance for safety to avoid burns. So, it all depends on your cage setup I guess. You may want to call them up and ask which wattage bulb they recommend for your setup. Look at the minimum distances they have on their site for each bulb.
