I've heard of several cases of impactions in animals kept on Calci-sand. They claim it's digestible but I used it for a short while with my Bearded Dragons and noticed that when it gets a little moisture in it, it clumps and gets kind of gummy. Does Phoebe have a large pan of water on the bottom of her cage? Iguanas will usually choose to go in water if given the opportunity.
