I'm a little bit concerned about the iguanas there. Since I'm still new, I'm not sure what exactly would be considered "inhumane". I understand that the cage at the pet store is only meant for temporary storage and so IDEAL set ups can't always be provided, but does this sound WRONG to you guys, I counted about 25 tiny green iguanas in a space no larger than a 30 gallon. It was longer than a typical 30 long, but it was much shorter. That 25 includes a dead one! They are no more than 6 inchs (oh god they are so sweet, its hard not to just buy the whole lot and "save them", although this would help nothing).
So what do you guys think, should I say something? I meant to ask someone how I would take care of one if I bought it (pretending to be a shopper) to see how they would tell me to take care of it, but I never got the chance. I don't mean to try to bring them down or anything, I just can't stand to see all those sweet little things with the dried up food (lettuce, strawberry, and banana) and them crawling all over each other, one dead, several "asleep" in the day time. Do I have a problem, or is this fairly typical.
Thanks,
Shanna
