Hi Flavia,
I feed Joey mustard greens, escarole, beet greens and turnip greens as well as shredded butternut squash, parsnip, green beans and a little bit of strawberry on top to 'encourage' him...*smiles*. I also put a little calcium powder about 3 times a week in his food (he doesn't like it...in fact if I don't mix it in he will fling off the top of his salad and get down to the 'good stuff' (without the calcium).
I was putting some ground up alfalfa pellets in it too, but have stopped doing that...i don't think he likes that either.
How 'fat' should the base of his tail and thighs be? As i've mentioned before he is quite small for his age I think...his last owner called him a 'runt'.
Thank you for your comments Flavia, much appreciated...*smiles*.
And as soon as I can I will post a photo.
