Iguana's colors tend to get a little 'duller' as they mature, but that mostly depends on the subspecie. However, a healthy "happy" specimen shows bright coloration throughtout most of its life, especially in breeding season.
As for his size, he's about a year old.
They grow about a foot per year til they become mature. after that, growth slows down, but iguanas, like most reptiles, keep on growing til the day they die. Of course, at old oge growth may be a centimeter per year, but it still keeps on going.
