I would probably try and set up some kind of other arrangement for the turtle such as a small pool outdoors in partial shade. You may run the chance of totally throwing your ig's potty training out of whack by preventing him from sticking to his normal routine. Mine get p-off when I change their routine at all. Such as yesterday when I got busy and pooped Abner but forgot to poop Baby...I ended up with three huge messes in his cage. (definitely not normal for him)Good luck! J
