I have a small visitor for the summer, a tiny snapping turtle that is my husbands classroom pet. I have a small 9 gallon pond set-up in my greenhouse that would make a good summer home. The problem is, it is me 4 foot iguana's toilet (and what a mess he makes in there). Since I don't want the turtle swimming through his feces (and I doubt the filter system can control the waste thoroughly). I need to find a way to block it off for a couple of months. I was considering using mosquito netting to start with, and pray that Ed (the ig) doesn't tear it to shreds. I would like to avoid major gate construction and cost if possible. Any ideas?
