Because of that, I only took the quickest of between finger peeks at the vent myself. I think I'll wait until the repeat xrays show that the vertebrae have floated back out to a normal position before I try to get some good pics of the vent.

To my eye it was a flat little baby vent. No hemipenes in sight.
