Hi, I live in Puerto Rico and there has been some discussion on an environmental newsgroup I am subscribed to about whether the booming population we have of iguanas has anything to do with the decline in the bird population. Do wild iguanas eat birds eggs or are they strictly vegetarian in the wild? The second question comes from a small resort owner in Belize who is troubled by an over-population of iguanas on his property, he was wondering if there is any HUMANE deterrent or repellant he could use to discourage his property from being such a popular hangout. Thank you.
